Montserrat's Parliamentary Speaker wants the Opposition to have more Say in Parliament

Speaker the honourable Charliena White is pushing to give members of the opposition more of a voice in Parliament.

Speaking on ZJB Radio Ms. White stated that one of her aims it to increase the number of sittings of the Legislative Assembly from just one sitting per month to two.

She explained that this would give members of the opposition an opportunity to bring matters to the House.

Honourable Crenston Buffonge to Participate in United Nations Climate Change Conference in Dubai

Minister for the Environment, Honourable Crenston Buffonge is set to participate in the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference scheduled to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The conference will include the 28th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 28).

The minister will be travelling with principal environmental officer, Barry Mahabir, and acting director of the Energy Unit, Marissa Allen.
