Construction of New Hospital to start in 2024
The government of Montserrat continues to make progress on plans for the new National Hospital.
Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday, Minister of Health the Honourable Charles Kirnon says an invitation to prequalified contractor would go out by the end of year.
He said mobilization should commence by the second quarter of the new year.

The New National Hospital Project is funded by the UK’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) via the Capital Investment Programme for Resilient Economic Growth (CIPREG).
It will create a modern, state-of-the-art facility, providing a range of medical and surgical services across approximately 57,817 square feet, including in-patient, outpatient, emergency care, maternity care, diagnostic services (including CT and mammography), and specialist clinics.
