Residents Told Not to Lose Sight of NCD’s in Light of the COVID-19 Pandemic
Director of Primary Healthcare Dr Dorothea Hazel-Blake has told residents not to lose sight of danger posed by non-communicable diseases...NCD’s in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Hazel-Blake, who was speaking on the Brakfast Show this week, said residents must not disregard NCD’s such as diabetes during the ongoing focus on COVID.
She said the stress caused by the COVID-19 pandemic can have a negative impact on persons with these conditions.
