Parliamentarian Challenges Local Financial Institutions to Help Residents

Parliamentary Secretary attached to the Office of the premier, Honourable Crenston Buffonge is applauding the work of the government in challenging local financial institutions to step up to the plate and help residents.

He says the government has been able to devise creative solutions to the myriad of challenges the island faces.

Honourable Buffonge is now challenging local financial institutions to make funds available to address the many issues, including housing, the parliament building and such like.

He contends that the money is local and as such must be made to work for residents on island.

In support of the 2025/26 budget that was recently passed in to law, Mr Buffonge started out by addressing the concerns of social recipients
