A Delegation to Discuss Visa Challenges with D.R. Residents

A delegation will visit the island this weekend to discuss visa challenges affecting the members of the Dominican Republic community here.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Davy Hill Community Center on Saturday March 29th at 6:00 PM

Among the attendees will be the Charge d’Affaires representing Dominicans in Antigua, as well as a representative from the Antiguan government.

Premier, Honourable Reuben T. Meade, made the announcement on Tuesday while providing an update on his recent engagements in Antigua.

In a separate development, a representative from a major hotel chain is also set to arrive in Montserrat this weekend.


The company, which is currently working on a 120-room hotel near the airport in Antigua, has shown an interest in exploring investment opportunities in Montserrat.

During his trip to Antigua, the Premier extended an invitation for them to visit and assess the potential for hotel development in Little Bay.
