Commissioner of Police Concerned Over Number of Vehicular Accidents Here
The island’s Commissioner of Police has expressed concern over the number of accidents throughout the just concluded St Patrick’s Season.
The season, which ran from March 8th to the 17th, saw 17 vehicular accidents, over 10 days.
This, Commissioner Mark Payne says can be attributed to several factors, including increased traffic volume, unfamiliarity with local roads, driver fatigue, and alcohol consumption.
Commissioner Payne says education and clear traffic signage will be looked into for the next year.
