Montserrat Volcano Observatory Opens Abstract Submissions for SHV30 International Conference

The Montserrat Volcano Observatory (MVO) has officially opened abstract submissions for the Soufrière Hills Volcano International Conference (SHV30), themed Turning Magma into Momentum.

The conference will be held in Montserrat, from July 14-18, 2025, bringing together global scientists, risk practitioners, decision-makers, Montserrat residents, and the diaspora.

This landmark event invites participants to share lessons learned from the Soufrière Hills eruption and similar volcanic experiences across the Caribbean and beyond, with a focus on building a sustainable future for Montserrat.
