Government’s £7 Million Priority Utilities Project to be Operational This Year
The Government of Montserrat has formalized a £7 million funding agreement with the UK government to address critical upgrades in the island's water, electricity, and sewage infrastructure.
These upgrades form part of the Government’s Priority Utilities Project, the details of which were outlined in a response from the Minister of Infrastructure the Honourable Veronica Dorsette-Hector during the second meeting of the 18th parliament on Tuesday.
Minister Dorsette-Hector says these projects are pivotal for modernizing the island’s Utility Systems and showing that they meet current and future demands.
