Commissioner Plans for Partial Reopening of Salem Police Station

Plans are in the pipeline to have a partial reopening of the Salem Police Station soon.

So says Commissioner of Police Mark Payne.

Speaking on Radio Montserrat last week, Mr Payne stated that this planned partial reopening will ensure that there is a police presence in the Salem community which will provide some level of comfort and security for the residents in that area.

The Salem police station was closed about two months ago to necessitate structural repairs to the building.

Commissioner Payne also outlines the ongoing collaboration to carry out repairs to other buildings under his remit.
