Rotary District Governor Visits Montserrat to Observe Local Projects Implemented by Club

The Rotary District 7030 District Governor is in Montserrat this weekend to observe local projects undertaken by the Interact, Rotaract and Rotary Clubs here.

Brian Glasgow is on the island from May 31 - June 3, 2024.

During his visit, he will have involved discussions with the Executives of all the Interact, Rotaract and Rotary Clubs on accomplishments and challenges; and about Rotary International priorities.

He also visited a number of local projects implemented by Rotary.

Glasgow first met with Acting Premier, Dr. the Honourable Samuel Joseph for a courtesy call, and then visited the Brades and Look Out Primary schools to unveil two projects implemented by the Rotary Club.

Brades Primary School students can reflect on peace and the benefits of peace by observing a brand-new peace pole stationed at the entrance area of the school.

Meantime, Look Out Primary School students can now utilize the brand-new water cooler to hydrate themselves and use water to conduct scientific experiments.

The District Governor says it is important to witness how impactful Rotary Clubs are to the community.
