Residents Warned About Mosquitoes
Amidst a dengue outbreak in the Caribbean and the Americas, residents on Montserrat are being warned about the dangers of mosquitoes.
Principal environmental health officer Garett Stanley spoke on the radio programme Talking Health with Penny Maloney on Wednesday, to discuss mosquitoes and vector control.
This programme followed Mosquito Awareness week, which was observed from May 6 to May 12, 2024.
Stanley addressed the different diseases brought by mosquitoes as well as the purpose for Mosquito Awareness Week.
