Minister of Health Honorable Charles Kirnon Reports on Health Sector Developments
Minister for Health, the Honourable Charles Kirnon has reported on significant developments taking place in the health sector.
Contributing to the budget debate on Thursday, he highlighted the health information system, which is being piloted at two health centers before being rolled out to all clinics and the hospital.
Minister Kirnon also spoke of upgrades to lab services and the expansion of the visiting specialists programme.
The health minister promised that there are more improvements planned for 2024.
Mr. Kirnon also announced the launch of a blood bank service.
