Acting Premier and Director of DITES to Speak at ECCB Lecture
The Lecture Series in celebration of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank’s 40th Anniversary continues with the Montserrat Edition tonight at the Cultural Center in Little Bay..
The lecture, which is scheduled to start at 6:00pm will feature Acting Premier Dr. the Honourable Samuel Joseph and the Director of Department of Information Technology and e-government Denzil West.
The distinguished panel will explore the theme ”Information and Communication Technology,” the yellow economy.
The yellow economy is mainly about innovation for a better use of resources and greater productivity.
According to the experts in addition to boosting industrial competition, the yellow economy drives economic growth.
The Montserrat Edition follows the successful staging of lectures in Grenada, St. Lucia and Antigua and Barbuda.
The ECCB’s 40th Anniversary Lecture Series is being held under the theme The Colourful Economy and will culminate with the ECCB At 40 Global Conference taking place at the ECCB Headquarters in St. Kitts from 8-10 November.
