Premier Off To London For Coronation of King Charles and Joint Ministerial Council
Premier the Honourable Joseph Farrell will travel to London on Wednesday to attend the coronation of King Charles the Third.
Premier Farrell will join Governor Her Excellency Sarah Tucker and contingents from the Royal Montserrat Defense Force and the Royal Montserrat Police Service for the highly anticipated event in London.
The Governor and the Premier will join more than 2,000 guests, including members of the Royal family, representatives of the Church of England, prominent politicians, from the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, and heads of state and royalty.
Representatives of the RMDF and RMPS are expected to take part in the procession through the streets of London following the coronation.
Meantime Speaking on ZJB Radio on Tuesday, Premier Farrell announced that he will attend the Joint Ministerial Council (JMC) while in London.
He will be accompanied by Deputy Premier Dr. the Honourable Samuel Joseph and Financial Secretary, Honourable Lindorna Lambert.
Premier, Farrell and his entourage will not only attend the JMC but will be engaged in several other meetings there.
