Former Premier Calls for Government to Address Cost of Living Crisis Here
Former Premier of Montserrat Donaldson Romeo has called on the government to address the cost of living crisis with urgency.
He says the past two years have seen the prices for essential items doubled while the cost of electricity is at an all-time high.
Mr. Romeo says it is time the government come up with a plan to tackle the problem.

The Government of Montserrat announced recently that it is working on a package of assistance to help residents here cope with the cost of living.
The assistance includes a subsidy on electricity bills.
Premier the Honourable Joseph Farrell also announced that the price control mechanism will be re-introduced to protect consumers from price gouging.
