Permanent Secretary Welcomes Labour Code Amendment

Parliamentary Secretary, Honourable Veronica Dorsette Hector has welcomed an amendment to the Labour Code that spells out when a dispute can be taken to the Court of Appeal.

She says it is a timely intervention that will assist persons who wish to appeal rulings by the Labour Tribunal.

Dorsette-Hector states that in effect, the change makes it easier for ordinary people to get access to justice.
