Government has Cleared the Way for Sand Miners to Operate in the Upper Belham Valley
The all clear has been given for the commencement of sand mining operations in the Upper Belham Valley.
The announcement was made by the Minister with responsibility for mining, Honourable Crenston Buffonge.
Minister Buffonge says while it has been a protracted journey, he is pleased with the outcome and looks to sustainable and risk-free sand mining on Montserrat.
Minister Buffonge reveals that attention is now being placed on establishing mining operations in Fort Ghaut.
