Montserrat Election Commission Proposes Several Changes to the Election Act
The Electoral Commission has unanimously agreed that there needs to be a look at Montserrat’s elections legislation with a view to making changes or adjustments.
Speaking during an information sharing programme on ZJB Radio Wednesday night, Chair of the Electoral Commission, Claudette Weekes, said there needs to be a review of the Election Act caption 1.04
She highlights three main amendments that the commission is suggesting for now as areas for reform.
