Twin Otter Service Cited as the Number One Preference to Access Montserrat: According to a Montserrat travel Survey
Travelers to Montserrat have shown a preference for a twin otter service as the main means of getting to the island.
Access Coordinator Ashley Lindsey says this was one of the key findings from the recent ‘Montserrat Travel Survey’.
Lindsay indicated that a twin-otter service would now be considered as part of the island’s Access Strategy.
The Access Division launched two travel surveys in 2021 as part of efforts to improve access and connectivity to Montserrat.
The online survey was an important aspect of the Access Division’s stakeholder engagement; as the feedback received will be factored into the planning framework for Montserrat’s access and connectivity.
One survey was targeted towards residents while the other was for persons living outside of Montserrat, including includes the Montserrat Diaspora, Visitors to the island, and the Expat community.
