Montserrat to Open its Borders to Fully Vaccinated Travellers in October
Montserrat will start receiving fully vaccinated visitors from October 1st 2021, as part of a phased reopening of the island’s borders.
This was revealed by Premier the Honourable Joseph Farrell during a press conference on Tuesday.
While giving a sneak-peak into the new SR&O which is expected to come into effect from October 1st, Premier Farrell also revealed that the number for gatherings has been increased from 50 to 75 persons while social distancing have been reduced from 6 feet to 3 feet.
Premier Farrell says he is confident that the island’s health system can manage an influx of persons once the borders are reopened.
