Government to Launch Loan Grant Financing Programme
The Government of Montserrat is committed to supporting the business community on island ahead of the reopening of the borders.
Premier the Honourable Joseph Farrell announced on Tuesday the implementation of a $1.3 million economic development scheme for the private sector.
The Loan Grant Financing Programme, which seeks to assist businesses in their recovery will be open for new and existing businesses.
Premier Farrell also revealed that funds will be provided for a series of business development sessions.

Premier Farrell said of the 1.3 million dollars allocated for the scheme, 600 thousand is for the grant component, 500 thousand towards the loan and 200 thousand towards training.
