Front line Workers Given a Choice of Taking the Vaccine or the COVID-19 Test
Front line workers in Montserrat are being given the choice of taking the AstraZeneca vacccine or take the COVID-19 test.
The new government policy was revealed by Premier the Honourable Joseph Farrell on ZJB on Friday.
Premier Farrell said that front line workers who do not or cannot take the vaccine would be asked to take the test for COVID-19 fortnightly.
Meantime, the Government of Montserrat has announced that only tourism workers who are fully vaccinated would be allowed to come into contact with cruise passengers.
Premier Farrell said that this is a request by the cruise industry ahead of the reopening of Montserrat’s borders.
