The Government of Montserrat to Review Protocols for Cruise Ships
Government is in the process of reviewing protocols for cruise ships when the borders are reopened.
This was revealed by Premier the Honourable Joseph Farrell in the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.
He said due to the negative publicity that the cruise industry has received with the onset of COVID-19, most cruise lines have adopted a strict approach to the health and safety of their passengers as they gear up to resume sailing this summer.
This means that only vaccinated passengers are allowed to sail, which has implications for Montserrat and other Caribbean islands.
