Successful Vaccine Roll-Out Could Result in Lifting of More Restrictions

Minister of Health the Honourable Charles Kirnon says a successful roll out of the COVID-19 vaccine could result in the lifting of more restrictions.

Mr. Kirnon intimated that the opening up of the economy and the country are tied to the pace of the vaccination
programme.

The government is aiming for a target of 70 to 80 per cent of the population but is lagging far behind at a rate of 26 per cent.
