Local Charity to Raise £3000 to Save Montserrat Children's Summer School Programme
A local charity group has launch an online fundraising drive aimed at saving the Montserrat Children's Summer School Programme.
The Montserrat Children's Summer School Programme is an annual initiative by the Montserrat Children's Society, which caters to children aged 4-7 and offers both academic and leisure experiences over a six-week period.
This year however, the group says fund-raising has been almost impossible due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As a result, the group started a crowdfunding in hopes of raising 3000 pounds.
ZJB News contacted President of the organization Margret Ainsworth,who explained how the funds will be used.
