A further delay in the commissioning of the Open COVID-19 Testing System at the Glendon Hospital
Minister of health, the Honourable Charles Kirnon says the commissioning of the Open COVID-19 Testing System at the Glendon Hospital would be a great boost to healthcare delivery on the island.
Mr. Kirnon says the system, which is about to come online, would improve the hospital’s ability not only to test for Covid, but for other diseases as well.
These include HIV AIDS and tuberculosis.
Appearing on the View Point programme, he also explained the delay in bringing this critical facility online.
With regards to the new hospital, Mr. Kirnon said the project is at the end of the first phase, which is the design stage.
