Montserrat to Receive Second Shipment of Oxford-AstraZeneca Vaccine on Wednesday

Montserrat is set to receive another consignment of COVID-19 Vaccines this week.

Through the United Kingdom Government, 2000 Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine doses are expected to arrive on the island on Wednesday ( March 31st).

Two hundred and thirty-nine (239) persons here have been fully immunized.

Montserrat received the first batch of 3000 doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine on February 3rd.

And, as of March 30th, 1,211 persons have received their first jab, with another 37 registered for Wednesday.

The deadline for registration for the first dose of the vaccine is Wednesday March 31st.
