Local Health Authorities Advised to Continue Using the AstraZeneca COVID-19 Vaccine
Health Officials here and across the region are being urged to continue to administer the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
The encouragement is coming from the World Health Organization...WHO.
Several governments have halted the use of the AstraZeneca Vaccine because of blood clot fears.
WHO Chief Scientist Soumya Swaminathan told a press briefing that countries should continue vaccinating with AstraZeneca, stressing that no causal link had been established between the vaccine and clotting.
