More Tributes Rolling in for the Late Theatrical Stalwart David Edgecombe

Tributes continue to pour in for the fallen former director and artistic director of the Montserrat Theatre Group (MTG) David Edgecombe.

He passed away on November 19 in St. Thomas at the age of 69 years.

Former MTG member Winston “Kafu” Cabey took to the airwaves Tuesday morning to reflect on the “glory days” of theatre in Montserrat and the life and time of the man who he refers to as a friend and mentor.

Meantime, Sir Howard Fergus, who was the Resident Tutor at the then University Centre, was among the callers into the radio programme.

He shared his experience working along with David Edgecombe and highlighted the impact of his theatrical productions on the region.

The celebration of the life of the late David Edgecombe will be held on Saturday December 11 in St. Thomas.
