Ministry of Health Records One COVID-19 Case

The Ministry of Health and Social Services is reporting one active COVID-19 case.

This was announced in it’s COVID-19 dashboard dated December 17th 2021.

The new case brings the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 45.

The lone case was identified using the testing protocol for persons arriving on island.

Officials are encouraging residents and visitors to the island to continue to observe quarantine and other COVID-19 protocols.

Meantime, The Ministry is encouraging unvaccinated persons to register for their AstraZeneca or Pfizer Vaccine.

Persons can also register for booster shots.

Persons may register for vaccination by contacting the St. John’s Health Center at 491- 5218.
