Former Speaker Encourages Montserratians Not to Lose Focus in Their Effort to Help the Island Rebuild
Former Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Shirley Osborne is urging Montserratians not to lose focus as the island tries to rebuild.
Ms. Osborne, who was Speaker from 2014-2019, says the last 25 years have been difficult, but believes that Montserratians have the skill and talent to help the island recover from not only the volcanic crisis but the coronavirus pandemic.
Ms. Osborne made the comment on her weekly radio programme.
