Dental Department Resumes Operations

The Dental Department has resumed operations but only for emergency procedures.

Dental Surgeon in the Ministry of Health Dr. Coretta Fergus says the department will only operate on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 to 1:00PM initially.

She says the arrival of the novel corona virus has impacted the way in which dentistry can be practiced worldwide and Montserrat is no exception.

 Dr. Fergus says no routine procedures will be done for the time being, inly emergency procedures including, severe toothache, dental abscess resulting in pain, swelling of the face or gums, broken tooth causing pain or trauma to tissue or dental trauma resulting in a knocked out tooth.
