Big Drop in Fuel Prices

Amidst the gloomy COVID-19 pandemic, finally some good news.

For the first time in recent years, gas prices have dipped to below ten dollars.

According to new price data released by the Trade and Quality Infrastructure Division, regular gas at the pump is selling for 9 dollars and 40 cents, a dramatic fall of 4 dollars and 34 cents.

The retail price for diesel is7 dollars and 36 cents, down from 11 dollars and 28 cents price in March.

Premium gas remains unchanged at 14 dollars and 39 cents.

The year began with regular gas selling at 14 dollars and 55 cents on January 7, with a slight increase to 14 dollars and 92 cents on January 22.

This was followed by minor decrease on February 13 to 13 dollars and 69 cents, followed by another increase on March 2 to 14 dollars and 48 cents.

World oil prices fell on Wednesday on concerns of a possible second wave of coronavirus cases in countries easing lockdowns.
