Contract Signed for New Air Traffic Control Tower
The contract has been signed for the construction of the new Air Traffic Control Tower at the John A Osborne Airport in Gerald’s.
The Brief signing ceremony between the government of Montserrat, through the Ministry of Communications, Works, Energy and Labour, and the Galloway group took place at the MCWLE headquarters in Brades Thursday afternoon.
Permanent secretary Colin Fergus says the construction of the five-story air traffic control tower will bring the airport in line with standards set by Air Safety Support International…ASSI.

The Galloway group will start mobilizing for the project immediately with ground preparation in a few weeks.
The construction phase is expected to last 180 days.
