Delta Petroleum Denies Oil Spill
Delta Petroleum Limited has denied that there was an oil spill at its plant in Carr’s Bay recently. This after political candidate Veta Wade called on The Company’s Manager Roselyn Cassell Sealy to give a full disclosure on the recent allegations.
Cassell Sealy categorically shut down the accusation on the Breakfast show Wednesday morning.
She called the allegations irresponsible, adding how unfortunate it is for the company to be dragged into the political fray.
Mrs. Sealy says there was a fire which occurred during an operation carried out by the company to replace its pipes. She confirmed two workers from Venezuela received minor injuries. However, Mrs. Sealy described the fire as a “little incident”.
The Delta Manager is afraid that the inaccurate representation of the facts on this and other matters may make it difficult for Montserrat to attract environmental related funded.
