Government Strives to Meet 24-hour Doctor Coverage at Glendon Hospital
Minister of health Delmaude Ryan says the government is still striving to meet its target of 24-hour doctor coverage at the Hospital.
She was responding to a question by independent member of parliament Dr. Ingrid Buffonge in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday about the absence of an Internist or Physician Specialist.
Mrs. Ryan says efforts are underway to recruit a replacement for Dr. Ahmed Al Gussain who left the job last month.
She also said that the government added an additional post for a doctor in an effort to improve coverage at the hospital.
