GIU-MCWLE-Today, Wednesday, 17 April 2024 marks a historic moment in the Port Development Project and the advancement of Montserrat on a whole; as the first of the reinforced concrete caissons has been placed into the water which signals the progression of the marine construction works for the Montserrat Port Development Project. The Contractor, Meridian Construction Company Ltd., successfully started the placement of these caissons which would form the foundational elements that would make up the future pier for Montserrat.

A prominent Montserratian is to be honored by the Montserrat Progressive Society at their Annual Mother’s Day Extravaganza in New York.

Reuben T. Meade, who is leader of the United Alliance Party is adamant that such policies answer questions about what employees do such as directions, limits, principles, guidance on what they do, and why they do it.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Housing and the Environment (MALHE) is pleased to announce a significant advancement in Montserrat's agricultural infrastructure; the extension of the access road to the Duck Pond/Lawyers Mountain area.  

Residents on Montserrat have been urged to pay close attention to extreme heat conditions which started about a week or so ago.

Contractors for the new port development project, Meridian Construction Company, say they pushing as hard as they can to complete the facility for Montserrat.

The project is now into the construction stage and concrete caissons are being constructed and transported to the site in Little Bay.

The Montserrat Port Development Project Team along with the contractor would like to inform swimmers, users of the Little Bay area and the general public that a restriction zone is being implemented around the construction area of the new pier in Little Bay.  This restriction zone would be in place for the duration of the project.
