Ongoing RESEMBID Project to Retrofit Public Sector Buildings with Energy Efficient Equipment

In an effort to reduce energy consumption on Montserrat, plans have been made to retrofit equipment in public sector buildings for energy efficiency under the RESEMBID programme.

In an interview with ZJB News on Monday, program manager for sustainable energy in RESEMBID, Latoya Smith, explained that with the implementation of energy-efficient lighting, AC units, and other equipment, public sector energy spending would decrease.
