Six Infant Car Seats Donated to Glendon Hospital

The Parliamentary Opposition of Montserrat presented six infant car seats to the Glendon Hospital Obstetrics ward on Wednesday.

The car seats were donated by the Bramble-Ferreira Infant Car Seat (BFICS) program, formed by two families who saw the need for them after a recent accident involving a mother and newborn baby.

In his remarks at the presentation, member of the opposition, Hon. Donaldson Romeo thanked the Bramble-Ferreira families for their swift action in offering their support.

He also stressed the necessity of road safety, both for children and adults, highlighting the importance of car seats and seat belts.

Ward sister for the obstetrics ward, Lystra Fagan thanked the opposition and Bramble Ferreira families on behalf of the Glendon Hospital for their donation.
