Housing Minister Hopes to Meet Rising Demand for Affordable Homes Here
Minister for housing, Honourable John P. Osborne says the United Alliance government is hoping to meet the rising demand for affordable living accommodation on the island.
Osborne reveals that the average cost of a house in Montserrat is 400 dollars per square foot, which is out of the reach of many young persons.
Speaking at a recent public meeting, he says the government’s solution in the pipeline would drive down the cost of housing, meet demand, and provide significant benefits to residents across the island.
