Health Officials Urge Vigilance Against Illness During St. Patrick’s Festivities

Residents and visitors are to be mindful of sickness and disease during the highly anticipated St. Patrick’s season.

Medical officer at the casualty department, Dr Faqueeda Watson Jones, director of primary health care, Dr Dorothea Hazel Blake, and Family nurse practitioner, Sister Nadine Duberry, appeared on the Talking Health radio programme with health promotion coordinator Penny Maloney to discuss health tips for the St. patrick’s season.

The three medical professionals described the common sicknesses that could become more prevalent, as well as diseases that could be brought into the island.
