The Royal Montserrat Police Service (RMPS) is appealing to event hosts to be mindful of noise pollution during the St. Patrick’s season.

Speaking on the radio show “What’s on Your Mind” on Thursday, Commissioner of Police, Mark Payne, in response to a question on the subject, says the police will be in contact with event hosts regarding noise pollution.

The commissioner says noise pollution is above just policing, it is an issue that impacts other areas of the community as well.
