Back-to-School Drive Returns for Third Year
Children on Montserrat will once again have the opportunity to receive some much-needed school supplies this weekend.
The Sarah F Sweeney Foundation will be carrying out its third annual donation drive this Saturday, providing the island’s children with important school supplies.
The event will be held at the Cavalla Hill Methodist church on Saturday, August 3 from 12 noon.
Organizer, Avril Sweeney-Crawford, says there is no need for parents or guardians to register.
Sweeney-Crawford, who is a Washington-based educator, discussed why the foundation does this every year.
