Minister of Health Represents Montserrat at CARICOM Summit in Grenada
Health Minister, Honourable Charles Kirnon is in Grenada representing Montserrat at the 47th Regular meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government July 28 through 30.
Mr Kirnon is among CARICOM leaders at the three-day summit where they are discussing, among other topics, agri-food systems that prioritize food and nutrition security, climate changer and sustainavble development, foreign policy, the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME), and engagement with social partners.
Grenadian Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell assumed the new rotating chairman of CARICOM, the regional bloc of the Caribbean on Sunday, pledging to work for climate justice, reduce gun violence and advance digital technology.
