Premier Encourages Private Sector Businesses to Build on P.R.I.M.E. Success
Premier the honourable Joseph Farrell has urged the private sector to build on the success of the Produce in Montserrat Expo, P.R.I.M.E.
He was at the time declaring open the annual trade show at the Montserrat Cultural Centre, which ran over two days - Saturday and Sunday.
Premier Farrell stated that the government has invested millions of dollars in the private sector to ensure its recovery through various initiatives such as the Enterprise Development Scheme.
However, he is urging producers to continue to improve on quality to market their products overseas.
Meantime, bank of Montserrat, one of the main sponsors of the trade show, expressed satisfaction with the growth of micro businesses in Montserrat.
