Opposition Member Raises Concern About Medical Evacuations
Former Premier and Opposition member of Parliament, Honourable Donaldson Romeo, is raising concern about the access situation on Montserrat with particular reference medical evacuations…….Medivacs.
Speaking during a press conference on Radio Montserrat Friday morning, Mr Romeo stated that the duty of the government is to ensure that transportation is readily available for the traveling public.
The Opposition member of parliament said he witnessed what he described as a grave situation within the past two weeks with delays in air transportation which affected medivacs from the island.
Mr Romeo is calling on the Governor, the premier and the Cabinet in general to meet to address the situation as a matter of urgency.
