Powers, Privileges and Immunities Bill Passed into Law

The Legislative Assembly powers, privileges and immunities bill 2024 made its safe passage into law during Tuesday’s sitting of the Legislative Assembly at the Montserrat Cultural Centre in Little Bay.

While introducing the bill to the House, Attorney General Honourable Sheree Jemmotte-Rodney explains that the purpose of the bill is to declare and define certain powers, privileges and immunities.

She outlines some of the provisions of the bill.
