Retired Defence Force Captain Calls for a "Montserrat Day"

A retired captain of the Royal Montserrat Defence Force is advocating for a day to be set aside and called “Montserrat Day.”

Captain Peter W. A. White was at the time providing commentary during the recently-held King’s birthday parade at Salem Park.

Captain White says there is the need for something Montserrat-related to signal ownership in a profound way.

He says such an event is trending in the other overseas Territories and that it is high time that something of this nature be given serious thought in Montserrat.
