New Government Outlines Approach to Moving Island Forward and Tackling Key Issues
The New United Alliance government is surging ahead on what it describes as priority issues that are key to national development.
Following their first full week in office, the new administration appeared on Radio Montserrat Monday morning to provide feedback to the public.
Speaking on behalf of the team, on the Breakfast Show Monday, Leader of government business, Honourable Reuben T. Meade spoke to several issues which they are tackling up front to get things moving.
He spoke specifically to their approach in areas on the government and governance side.
Meantime, the Premier has reiterated that access is his number one priority.
He said that while other ministers would have their different priorities, for him, there is the urgent need to have safe and reliable access to Montserrat at a very crucial time in the island’s existence and history.
He started out by addressing the ticket subsidy for travelers.
