ICT Unit Organizes Panel Discussion on Cyber Security.
The ICT Unit within the Ministry of Buildings, Utilities, Infrastructure, Labour & Transportation (BUILT) has organized a panel discussion aim at heightening local awareness in Cyber Security.
Dubbed, ‘Cyber Safety in Montserrat: Protection, Prevention, and Policy’, the panel discussion will be held on Wednesday November 27th, from 5 PM to 7:30 PM at the Montserrat Cultural Centre.
The panel discussion will focus on addressing the growing importance of cyber safety and awareness, particularly in light of recent incidents in Montserrat, including WhatsApp scams and other digital threats targeting residents.
By leveraging the expertise of panelists from various domains, the event aims to provide practical advice and actionable strategies to mitigate these risks.
It will feature three distinguished experts who will explore critical topics surrounding cyber safety.
The sessions will be live streamed on facebook page and the Government Information Unit.
